I belong to very few private membership sites in the internet marketing space primarily because I find them to be a distraction and also because most site owners are not committed. They are great at getting you to join, but once you are in many of them lose interest in keeping their content current.
In addition, most internet marketing membership sites are loaded with content that takes you hours and hours, if not weeks, to consume. Unfortunately, this takes me away from the one thing I need to doing in order to be successful, and that is “creating content” for my various web properties.
Important Note: A major reason that most internet marketers are not successful is because they spend far too much time consuming content and not enough time creating content.
