Welcome to Web Business Research.  My name is Jon Poland.

Web Business Research is my online Web Business & Internet Marketing Journal.  Just about every day I am online researching the web business marketplace for the latest strategies, tools, and tactics that are being used by the brightest minds in internet marketing.  As I discover new strategies and tools that these experts use to increase the profitability of their businesses, I will publish my findings at WebBusinessResearch.com.

I will also be testing many of these products and strategies and then publishing the results in case studies at Web Business Research.  The focus of my research and testing will be in the following areas:  Traffic Generation, Affiliate Marketing, Search Marketing, Blogging, Pay Per Click, Social Media (Web 2.0), Traffic Conversion and Industry News & Trends.  In addition, I will also talk a lot about the Entrepreneurial Mindset, Motivation & Inspiration, and other critical elements that are key to the success of the aspiring web entrepreneur.

For the record, I am a full-time entrepreneur with one off-line business and two additional online businesses.   And I have a several other projects on my plate at this time.  Because of this, I have absolutely desire to do any consulting.  I like my life as a solo entrepreneur and I intend to keep it that way.

Much of the research that I am doing for Web Business Research is directly related to my other online ventures.  It makes no sense for me to keep my findings in my notebook when I can publish this research here and use it to create an authority site in the internet marketing niche.  It is my sincere hope that Web Business Research will add value to the marketplace and help people like you take your online business to the next level.

If you have an idea for a business and if you dream of becoming a professional web entrepreneur, my advice is to get it out there.  Over the years I have learned many valuable lessons in both business and life, and few lessons have been more valuable than the following:  “Perfection Is The Enemy Of Success.”

If you want to create wealth, you have to add value.  And you cannot add value if your site remains on the launching pad.  Don’t be concerned about it being perfect.  Just get it out there and get a result.

There is incredible power in a committed decision.  And when you make the commitment to take action and launch that first site, the positive momentum you will experience can be life changing.

Just remember, life is not about what you get . . . . life is about what you become.  And whatever it may be that you want to become, it is my hope that Web Business Research can play a small part in helping you step into your greatness.
